In order to stay active and not give in to "rusting away" I have joined Water Aerobics, just starting on the rowing machine at the Gym and possibly doing the Eliptical. I am still biking every now and then.
Also changing my eating habits to the point that less sugar in my diet will give me more energy.

I am enjoying reading your Blogs.Metahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02350271833377080263noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-812951198483259605.post-42222050687117059072012-08-18T01:16:52.219-04:002012-08-18T01:16:52.219-04:00Walking is the best exercise ever!

Several "younger" teachers from my school also went...and they took the subway and I walked the 22 blocks to the University...they shunned me as "old." Funny that when I was a brand new teacher at 25 years old, all of my teacher friends were within a few years of retiring but they were a wealth of knowledge and still today, 27 years later I am still friends with them. I can't wait to see where these teachers are in 20 years...they out weigh me and are in much worse shape than I am...but of course, what do I know?

TGIF!Mhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06295499795085860012noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-812951198483259605.post-91712916556469163352012-08-17T20:36:10.869-04:002012-08-17T20:36:10.869-04:00You're absolutely right, I think that's wh...You're absolutely right, I think that's why we reach for our goal steps daily at a minimum. I walk 4 days a week along the bay, and two times a week exercise on a stationary bike and in a pool at a health club. With you, I am young at heart and marching to my own drum.Terra https://www.blogger.com/profile/04396481049075747940noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-812951198483259605.post-57906130645993284062012-08-17T09:01:19.001-04:002012-08-17T09:01:19.001-04:00Thanks for your encouraging comments on my blog.

Enjoying the sights and sounds and clicking off some 10,000 steps is relaxing, fun too. I am enjoying my Townee bike very much during these cooler mornings/evenings!Lynnehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08723721131329150461noreply@blogger.com
