I had arrived. And the pictures of the day speak volumes.

The Mannings Cats roamed the grounds visiting all the guests.
Icing on the cake! Family!
We had some rain, but our lovely tree kept us dry!
Time to go at 4:00 pm! Nuts!
Six short hours gone in a flash! Not fair.
As we carried our stuff back to the cars, my cousin Linda said she hoped to one day come for a week and take a Spinning Workshop with them. The Mannings offer a number of day, weekend and week long workshops. According to their site they also provide some sleeping accommodations for participants. Once when I was seriously considering such an option (when the people in my life could do for themselves ... ah, those were the days), I noticed that nearby Bed and Breakfast was also an option! Now wouldn't that be heavenly. Spinning during the day, Bed and Breakfast at night.
I haven't totally given up that idea.
It is good to have goals!

What a lovely place and the yard colours...wow!! I love that shawl with the zigzag edge.
It was such a wonderful day! We will get the Mannings for a class someday I bet!
Thank you for taking us along to Mannings. I hope to get there one of these days.
Sounds like a wonderful day!
What a fun adventure each year, I thoroughly enjoyed myself! I hope you make the bed and breakfast trip next year, that'll be fun!
Noofy.
Unfortunately a week away from home is not in the cards for me ... not until mom is living somewhere else or is gone from this earth. I have a hard time being away overnight - much less a full week.
That is why the chances of me going to a workshop like this is pretty slim.
wow! porch knitting. :)
You got to go to the Mannings... I'm so jealous. Getting away for a few days or even a week is difficult for me too. I keep wondering if it's doable for the day from our area. I guess it is. Unfortunately, there aren't many 1 day weaving classes up there.
